Hummus, baby. I love this stuff! True, it is one of those love-it-or-loathe-it-and-everything-it-stands-for foods, but I am firmly parked in the love-it lot. I mean, it’s basically bean dip, with a deliciously garlicky flavor and a creaminess that makes you forget it’s actually good for you, so what’s not to love? I made a batch today from the recipe on the back of the Once Again tahini jar and enjoyed a healthy-sized blob of it with some toasted whole-wheat tortilla wedges. Satisfying and wonderful.
